After making much transfers, our beer is finally in bottles, where they will sit for a while to generate carbonation. I gotta say there was something satisfying about the process of putting cap on beer bottles.
Overall I think the process of making beer can be described in simple bullet points, but I learned there are a bunch of details that make all the differences in the world. Even while creating the corn sugar water we boiled the water and mixed sugar, but had to cooled it down afterwards so yeasts won’t be shocked. Also Marc used siphon to transfer the beer from the carboy to the bucket (with spigot) so we won’t suck up the deposits at the bottom, etc etc. So much to memorize!
