組み合わせ写真

兼子先生のワークショップに参加している影響で、最近複数の写真を組み合わせて一つのテーマを創造するというコンセプトを追っかけています。

一番新しいのが以下の二枚です。

ウィスキーグラスに水を入れ、そこにミルクをたらす事で濁らせています。そして仕上げにＬＥＤライトでちょっと不思議な光の効果を付けて撮っています。レンズは以前に紹介した Zuiko f/1.4。これを f/2.2 に絞って使っています。撮影の際には三脚でカメラを完全に固定し、コンピューターにつなぎ、EOS Utility 経由でフォーカス合わせて遠隔撮影しました。

まだまだ自分の中で写真の組み合わせたるや何のことやら？と悩んでいる部分が多いですが、ある程度ビジョンを固めてから撮影にのぞむと、自然と撮らなきゃいけないモノが見えてくる事が分かる二作でした。

遂に出ました、Aperture 3!!!

新機能の満載です。

現行 iPhoto で導入され、Aperture 2 ユーザが指をくわえて眺めていた「人々」や「撮影地」機能。これらの機能は Aperture が Lightroom や Photoshop とは一線を引いた、ワークフローマネージメントソフトである事を再確認させてくれます。

以前は破壊型プラグインでしか可能ではなかったドッジングや特別効果を可能にしてくれる「ブラシ」機能の追加、そしてブラシと併用する為に用意された新種のフィルターも見逃せません。

フルスクリーンモードではほぼ全てのワークフロー操作が可能となりました。画面のサイズが小さい方やオンロケーションでマックブックでの作業の多いプロの方々には大変便利なモードだと思います。

そして Aperture 3 ではビデオの取り込み、そして iMovie のようなスタイルのスライドショー編集まで可能になりました。

他にもここでは並べきれないさまざまな機能が追加されて、満足のリリースです。

僕も機会をみて少しづつ新機能の紹介をこのブログでしていこうかな、と思っています。

Tweetie for Mac highlights

Testing oh-so-hyped Tweetie for Mac.

Highlights & Coolness:
- This is an ad supported ware. You can upgrade to ad free version for $14.95
- Support for multiple user accounts.
- Shorten URL contextual menu item in the Post dialog (or option+cmd+s) is cool.
- Choice of URL shortening services include DiggBar, which is kinda new.
- Drag & Drop image submission is sweet.
- You can choose from one of 4 popular Twitter picture hosting services.
- The reply+retweet conversation UI is very very cool
- So is Direct Message browser!
- UI is fairly snappy in the first 15 minutes I tried it. (FYI, Lounge was like that, but became sluggish later.)
- cmd+N to open the Tweet dialog. Nice. I hate moving mouse around just to tweet.
- Tweet dialog includes the account picker if you have multiple accounts registered.
- cmd+shift+N to open a new Direct Message dialog.

- Direct Message dialog comes with a popup menu listing all my friends. The predictive typing feature for the popup is cool too.
- It lets me change the font size!! This is huge for someone like me who’s all about clamming as much information into a tiny space as possible.

Dislikes:
- Within the post dialog, Enter key is recognized as a return key. Why not post?
- I hate DiggBar. My friends better not be using DiggBar as the URL shortening service.

Long Story Short…:
A promising new Twitter client. I will have to test it out a couple of more days before deciding to get rid of TweetDeck and Lounge…

マイミクの drikin さんが作った新しい Twitter クライアント pocket*。

なんと今回も TwitterPod に引き継いで僕のサウンドを Tweet 着信音として使っていただきました！

この音なのですが、アイディアがちょっと面白いです。新しい Tweet が来る時＆溜まったTweetをクリックで呼び込む度にランダムにサンプルがピックされて再生されます。全部で音は９つありますが、全てが同じＣメジャー系和音な為、どの順番で鳴らしてもつじつまがあいます。ちょっと自分で音楽奏でてるような気分になれるかも？噂では Tweet 無視でどんどんクリックして音に酔いしれちゃう人もいるらしい？？ ^_^)/ ww

Twitter ＆マックユーザの方は試しに使ってみてください。パワーユーザの方々の間ではメインの Twitter クライアントと併用する方もいるみたいですね。

p.s. ちょっと恥ずかしいけど、英語圏紹介用のスクリーンキャストも作らせてもらったりしました。
